What is theWheel?
theWheel is a community-based cultural engine.
A Place to Share Good Stuff
Members of the community will upload Posts (Pods) to theWheel.
These Pods will consist of text, links, audio, video, images, scores, equations, poems, essays, songs, stories - whatever it takes to communicate effectively to the community concerning something that the poster feels passionate about.
The community then responds to and interacts with the poster at theWheel, again with text comments, links, audio, etc. - providing the poster’s passion with both a social context and resonant feedback.
If the original poster feels so inclined, he or she may choose to repost an updated version of the original Pod to theWheel. This process could pass through one or several iterations.
From time to time creative works or their clear potential may emerge from theWheel’s crucible. Such works will be played with and explored by a small group of humans all together in one room here in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.
